We sure did have lots of fun celebrating Valentine's Day! We had a lot to pack in on Tuesday after missing class on Monday! We had lots of fun with candy hearts! We did a counting card game with candy hearts and worked on making patterns with the same hearts. As we focused on the letter R, we enjoyed reading the book Love, Ruby Valentine! We got our bags ready for collecting our Valentine cards at the party and even enjoyed making Valentine straw and noodle necklaces! Our reading groups this week read about being good brothers and sisters.
Wednesday was a very busy day! Before the party, we had fun working on our color words with our "Rainbow Hearts" poem. We also made beautiful paper hearts and practiced uppercase and lowercase letter matching with broken heart puzzles. We read another fun Valentine's Day book and did some fun bean bag dances with our love bug bean bags!

Bridge Class!
We had another great week in Bridge class! We got to extend our learning with lots of fun! See if your child can remember what happened in our candy heart experiment with vinegar, water, and oil.
In addition to extra sight word and number writing practice, we got to enjoy learning about symmetry with heart painting, lacing with hearts, making candy heart graphs, and practicing our jumping skills on hearts in the green room.
