Our First Week!

We were off to a great start in our room this week! We truly had so much fun together! Mrs. Nicole and I feel so blessed to teach each of these precious children this year!

As part of our first week, we celebrated how God created us all as special individuals! Our theme was All About Me, so we read two Elmer the Elephant books and focused on how we are all different and all special!

We had fun making our own Kissing Hands as well as creating a "God Made Me Special" heart for the hallway. Make sure to look for these beautiful works of art on our classroom bulletin board. To practice the letter M, we also made macaroni Ms and formed the letter M with yummy marshmallows!

As we talked about how we are all friends in our class, we decided to make a "Friendship Cake" together. Each sweet friend chose a color of food coloring to color their cup of cake batter and then mixed it in. We then poured all of the colors together and swirled them together. Just like our cake, God made each friend different, and we are beautiful together!

This week, see if your child can remember our "Hello" song we practiced or tell you a name of one of their new friends!

We cannot wait to grow and learn each week!

I don't think we could be any cuter with these sweet smiles!

We have some creative entertainers in our class!

Look at us already playing together so nicely!

We were such hard workers!

Stirring our cake batter was serious business!

We were already experts at table trading!

We loved exploring outside together!

Look at us already learning how to make a straight line!

Beep! Beep! We were so careful to watch our for our friends!

God made us all special!
