This week, we continued to review the letters we have done to this point. We also continued to have fun with pumpkins and other Halloween activities. We had a candy corn "theme" with many of our activities, creating candy corn letters, counting candy corn, creating candy corn crafts, and learning a candy corn Bible lesson. We even did a fun candy corn science experiment to see what would happen to this candy when put in baking soda, salt, or vinegar water. We also continued to talk about how we can shine for Jesus. We will be moving on to November's Bible verse this coming week, but you might want to continue to practice Matthew 5:16 with your child at home. Even though they are small, they can all shine bright for Jesus!
A HUGE thank you to EVERYONE who came to help with the party or sent in awesome treats! We are so blessed by each of you. Our party was so much fun, and we hope everyone enjoyed it. We got to eat such yummy snacks, play Halloween bingo, make a spider craft, and do a bean bag toss. Before the party, we even got to go trick or treating for a few minutes!
Lastly, thank you to everyone for the ADORABLE emotion pumpkins you made with your child. They were precious, and we had so much fun sharing them with our friends!
We can't wait to see everyone this coming week!
